O’SHEA CURRAN (Cedar Row, Blackrock, Cork): It is with great sadness that we announce the death of RÍAN, passed away unexpectedly on the 27th of March 2026 He will be forever missed by his heartbroken mom Karen and dad John, stepparents Spyros and Marjo, sister Vivian and brother Harry, grandparents Michael and Síobhan and Phil and Olive, aunts, uncles, cousins and his many friends.

BANKS (Blackrock & formerly of Turners Cross, Cork): On March 23rd , 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and the exceptional care of the staff at the Bon Secours Care Village, Mount Desert, WILLIAM beloved husband of Annmarie (née Healy), much loved dad of Colin and Keith, daughter-in-law Emer, grandson Isaac, predeceased by his brothers and sisters Jimmy, Tom, John, Lena, Josie and Anna.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

McCARTHY (South Douglas Road and Blackrock, Cork): On March 18th 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, SHEILA, beloved wife of Freddy and much-loved mother of Laura and David, a cherished and devoted grandmother to Dylan, Millie, Shóna, Sophia and Mylo, who will carry her love with them always.

Sheila will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, family, sister Joan, brothers Seán, Joseph and Peter, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Sandra and Linda, sons-in-law Michael, Ken, Billy, Paul and Mark, her 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
