MURPHY (Blackrock, Cork): On August 16th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff in the I.C.U at the Cork University Hospital GERARD (late of Water Technology Ltd;), dearly loved husband of Sally, cherished dad of Sabrina, Donna and Nicola, adored grandad and great-grandad, brother Joe, sister Kay and sisters-in-law.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters and family, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Thursday (August 20th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Friday (August 21st) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock.

Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
