O’CONNELL (Beaumont, Cork & late of Tarbert, Co. Kerry): On October 7th, 2026, unexpectedly, but peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Cork University Hospital SEÁN (Retired Detective Sergeant, An Garda Síochána), beloved husband of the late Mary (née McKenna), loving father of Ann (McCarthy), Danny, Ray, Carmel (Lester) and Enda, dear brother of Danny, Maurice, Thomas and the late Patsy.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law John and Colin, daughters-in-law Dorothy, Louise and Leona, his beloved grandchildren Jason, Amy, Jess, Dave, Conor, Niamh, Mark, Seán, Evie and Tom, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (October 9th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (October 10th) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock which can be viewed
