St. Michael's Parish 
Families – Ninety children from four schools enrolled for the Sacraments of First Confession and First Holy Communion last weekend. There was a great attendance at the Vigil Mass for this and we look forward to the other Do This in Memory Masses both before and after Christmas in preparation for the Sacraments. The beauty of this is that ninety families were also in attendance as well as many grandparents. This brings life to our parish for which we are all grateful. The enrolment ceremony for the Confirmation candidates has been arranged for Saturday 21st November at 6pm Mass. Again, we look forward to all their families attending as well. There will be at least one more Mass for the Confirmation candidates in the new year to ensure that preparation is part of parish life along with their families and schools. November Novena for the Dead: Monday 2nd – Tuesday 10th November. There will be Mass each weekday @ 9.30am during the Novena.
Blessing of the Graves – in St. Michael’s Cemetery on Sunday 8th November @ 3pm.
November Novena Envelopes – available from the church from this weekend. Please return on/before Monday 2nd November, Feast of All Souls.
Children’s Adoration – Friday 6th November from 3pm – 3.30pm in St. Michael’s, Blackrock.
Altar Servers – there are more volunteers and look forward to a growing number of boys and girls willing to join the team with the support and encouragement of their families. People really appreciate the involvement of our new altar servers.
Alpha for Adults & Youth Alpha – will take place in Blackrock Parish Centre commencing on 6th January 2027. – more details available soon.
Family of Parishes Meeting – Wednesday 28th October @ 7pm in Blackrock Parish Centre. Representatives from the four parishes in our Family of Parishes will meet to further deepen the strong working relationship between the parishes.
