O’CONNELL (Jacobs Island, Blackrock & Mahon, Cork): On the 26th of August,after a long illness bravely borne with strength and dignity in the presence of her loving family at Marymount Hospice under the excellent care of the Marymount staff, LINDA (late of Abtran), loving mother to Carrie, Jamie, Eva & Furbaby Bobby, loving daughter to Seamus and the late Kathleen, adored grandmother to Louie, Leo & Ellie and dear sister to Ian and Gary.

She will be sadly missed by her loving family, Carrie’s partner Slavica, Jamie’s partner Natasha, stepson Darren, sisters-in-law Annette and Shirley, nieces Taylor (godchild), Heather and Hazel, nephews, Harry and Evan, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On Sunday (August 30th) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Monday (August 31st) in St Michael’s Church, Blackrock.

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co, Cork.
