St. Michael's Parish 
Summer Days – We are all grateful for the nice summer weather over the last few weeks. The bright days and long evenings help us all. A good few families are already on the move since the schools closed last week. Our prayer is that people and families will have a safe and enjoyable holiday. We welcome those who are visiting our parish and church these days. While many families are away, other visitors arrive and it’s lovely to meet people from so many different parts of the country and beyond visiting our church for Mass or for a quiet prayer during the week. Particularly during the summer, many people call into the church to say a quiet prayer while out for their walk. Our church is a prayerful place where we can pray privately or gather together for the Eucharist. May the Lord bless us all during these summer days. – Fr. Michael
First Friday Visits to the Sick and Housebound – A number of people have been in touch to let us know of a family member who would welcome a visit to receive the Blessed Sacrament in their home. This is so important for people who came to the church all of their lives and now can do so no longer. If you know of a neighbour or family member who needs a visit just let us know.
Catholic Papers – available in the church weekly. Thank you for your support particularly throughout the summer months when our routines can change somewhat.
Parables Tour with Fr. Mike Schmitz for Young Adults – Young adults from the Diocese of Cork and Ross are warmly invited to travel to Dublin for the Parables Tour with Fr. Mike Schmitz on Monday, 20th July. The cost of the trip is €70, which includes return bus transport, your ticket for the Parables Tour and a meal. The group will also attend a special Mass in Dublin, where Fr. Mike Schmitz will preach.

Cork & Ross Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes | September 18th to 24th
The Cork and Ross Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from the 18th to the 24th this year under the patronage of Bishop Fintan Gavin.
