Parish Life – We are blessed with great volunteers and participation in our parish. At this time of the year different groups recommence after the summer break. We welcome back our choirs and music groups who make our celebrations joyful and prayerful. We are continually grateful to all our Ministers of the Word and Eucharist, church collectors, volunteer sacristans, volunteer parents for our altar servers, those who look after the church and grounds and so many others who give their time and expertise. Parishes need volunteers. At this time of the year, people are often looking around for some community involvement. Why not join one of our choirs, music groups or other parish groups. When people become involved, it not only keeps us close to others but can also feel a closeness to God. So please think about becoming involved in the parish and we continue to give thanks to God for our current volunteers. – Fr. Michael
Annual Remembrance Mass – for all those who have died from our parish over the last year will be celebrated on Monday 2nd November @ 7pm. They have gone no further than to God and God is very near.
Christian Meditation Group – A group of people from our Family of Parishes continue to meet on each Friday morning at 10.15am in the Parish Centre. After a short introduction there is 20 minutes of silent prayer/meditation concluding with the Our Father. We welcome you to join us. Contact 087 6477841 for details.
