St. Michael's Parish 
First Holy Communion Celebrations – We had a wonderful Mass last Sunday morning with all the First Holy Communion children and their families. Many remarked that there was a lovely atmosphere in the church for the Mass. It also helped to see that we pray as a parish community to support the children, their families and schools. The ice-cream for the children after Mass was a big winner too! Thanks to the parents who have supported the parish based Do This in Memory programme throughout the past year. Children and families felt very comfortable in the church for all the celebrations. The wider parish becomes very much part of the celebrations throughout the year and this gives us all a lift and encouragement. May the Lord bless all involved and may the children grow in their love of the Eucharistic in their lives. St. Michael, pray for us. Fr. Michael

Mahon Parish or construction of Holy Cross Church, you might like to make them available. These can be handed into the Mahon Parish Office during office hours.
100th Cork Eucharistic Procession – Blackrock Parish will be joining with Ballinlough, Blackrock Road & Mahon Parishes on next Sunday 7th June. People are encouraged to gather initially near the former Dominican Pastoral Centre at 2.30pm before joining the Procession from the Cathedral of St. Mary & St. Anne.
Corpus Christi Novena Invitation – People throughout the diocese are warmly invited to pray the Corpus Christi Novena during the nine days leading up to the Feast of Corpus Christi. Copies of the prayer to St. Carlo Acutis have already been distributed to parishes. Short daily video reflections, led by different people, will be available online each day at 12 noon beginning Friday 29th May. Please join us in prayer.
Cork & Ross Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes | September 18th to 24th
The Cork and Ross Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from the 18th to the 24th this year under the patronage of Bishop Fintan Gavin.
