Pope Leo XIV
This weekend we celebrate and thank the Lord for the appointment of Pope Leo as our new Holy Father. The Lord is always faithful to us giving us the right Holy Father for our time. Now we have a Holy Father to lead us into the future. He is a Pope for our time and for this time of the church in the world. He will show that faith reconciles people and is never more needed. He will represent the universality of the church in a time of deteriorating global harmony. The Conclave has shown that the church discerns a new leader to maintain unity. The world needs discernment, reflection and communion. May the Lord bless Pope Leo and we will get used to his name being part of each Mass to be celebrated.
