St. Michael's Parish 
Parish Life – Parish groups, choir and music groups are all returning after the summer break. We look forward to the Do This in Memory parish-based programme for the First Holy Communion children and their families and this year, we will have a number of Masses for the Confirmation candidates and their families as well. We continue to support the SMA Parish while it is closed for some time. As a parish, we continue to celebrate baptisms on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. We celebrate weddings regularly in the church. We gather as faith community to support those who have been bereaved at the time of a requiem Mass in the church. Our parish is alive in so many ways and we look forward to the autumn. In this Jubilee Year, we continue to be Pilgrims of Hope – Fr. Michael
Diocesan Meeting – for parish representatives will take place on this Sunday 14th September and our parish will be represented as part of our Family of Parishes.
Alpha Programme – welcome to speakers at Masses this weekend introducing the Alpha Programme in our family of Parishes which is soon to begin in SMA Blackrock Road
Gougane Sunday – 28th September – during this Jubilee Year of Hope it is possible for people to gain an indulgence through participation
Annual Remembrance Mass – for all those who have died from our parish over the last year will be celebrated on Monday 3rd November @ 7pm. They have gone no further than to God and God is very near.
SMA Parish Newsletter – continues to be available in the church while the SMA church is closed temporarily.
